Did anyone know jon and richie had written for Ray Davies?

Heard it mentioned on Radio2 last week or so and saw the advert this morning, sounds ok actually. I remember they opened that Bounce(??) Concert with Ray and that song yeaaaaaars ago, the one that was streamed and shown in cinemas

Just to clarify, they didn't write for Ray Davies. Celluloid Heroes is a very old, and famous Kinks song. Always have loved Jovi's cover of this song with Ray from The SB show in 2002 that was on the Misunderstood single.

Because in the mind of an arrogant music critic, anything the band is involved in is cheesy I guess.

Its hard to stick I must admit. However, having what I would believe to be a very varied and diverse taste in music, listening to different things all the time, I still think jovi are at the VERY LEAST better than most in relation to intelligence/relevance of lyrics etc etc. If the mindset is [Bon Jovi AS Slippery] then i get it, anything later I definitely do not.
