sorry if this has been discussed before but ive just been sent the link for we got it goin on from rock in rio 08, is jon hammered?? thoughts anyone?

I doubt that. That was a good show overall and right before WGIGO, Jon sang Always and did a pretty god job. So I think he wasn't drunk he was just in high spirit.

I checked this vid out and he definately looks strange. He does seem like he's on something he has a weird look in his eye! Plus he would never push the security guard away like that usually.......did something happen on this night???
But he's totally singing in tune!!

jon was in a great mood that night so it could've been just that, i though. but i just checked the video out and he does look.... hmmm.... yeah, strange. now that you mention it, he does look a bit tipsy. haven't noticed any of this before as 90% of the time i'm paying atttention to richie anyway, and i didn't watch the show afterwards. maybe he had a great porto wine backstage and took a little too much ;)

i was at the gig. i know what happened. I told him that one the 100,000,000 fans WAS indeed wrong, so he got drunk to get over it.
