AMA's Tonight - BJ is performing
 

So the American Music Awards are tonight, and the guys are performing. As far as I remember, this is their last performance before next week in Japan.

I predict a medley, similar to what they did with the Grammy's earlier this year and the MTV awards a couple weeks ago. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it's the same combo as the MTV awards, with WDYG, Bad Name, and IML. Any other predictions, or did I hit the nail on the head?

It airs on ABC at 8PM Eastern Time, from the Nokia Theater in L.A.

those of us who aren't in the States, can we watch it online somewhere?

I have no idea but it's aired on my tv here in france ... check your tv channels maybe they air it too

I don't think that's true...

It's on at 7 here, and I'm 1 hour behind eastern time. So that would make it 8 eastern time. The pathetic thing is, that would make it on at 5'o'clock in Los Angeles, where the awards are LIVE from. It's silly how American TV is completely geared towards the East coast.

+200 channels and I can't find it anywhere. not even on MTV which was the obvious channel to air it. I'll check closer to the time, thanks Mimi.

you're very welcome ...on here it is on a channel called W9 (maybe you have it who knows)

it's because if it is aired at 8pm western tim then it will be too late in the same country but east time ... they prefer make it begin early in LA and make it viewable country wide

Oh, I know. It's just interesting because over 10% of America's population lives in California alone. But more lives on the east coast. Usually, if a show is on at 8 on the east coast, it will be on at 7 in the central time, etc. But it will be on at 8 on the west coast, too.

It's different for awards shows, though. I just find it interesting how the actual awards will start at 5 local time because they are live from Los Angeles.

I don't mind the TV schedule personally. 8 seems too late for me, so I prefer having all of the good TV on at 7.
