News About The Red Cd From Bon Jovi Com

BON JOVI: HEADS UP!!! CD IN STORES.
(Thursday, January 9, 2003)

Many fans in the US have found a new BON JOVI CD in the music section of some of their local TARGET stores. Official details will be released next week (the in-store date is January 14th but some stores have begun stacking and selling the CD already) however, here's the basics: It's an 8-track CD that will ONLY be available at TARGET stores. It's a limited run. The first five tracks are demos from BOUNCE that haven't been released in the US (BREATHE, LUCKY, NO REGRETS, STANDING and WE CAN DANCE.) The other three tracks include live versions MISUNDERSTOOD and JUST OLDER recording in NYC this past August, and an acoustic version of EVERYDAY. If you haven't seen the CD yet, don't worry... the official release date is January 14th so make sure to grab a few copies next week! Also, keep your eyes open for print ads and (hint, hint) keep your VCR ready to tape! Keep in mind, there is no official title to the CD (though some have been calling it 'the red cd' if that helps you identify it in stores.)

Nope. According to www.bonjovi.com the "red CD" aka the Target Exclusive CD will ONLY be available in Target stores in the US. It doesn't have anything on it that us non-US folks wouldn't already have had on the Everyday & Misunderstood singles, I think...

Well, besides that fact that you're waste an incredibly cool Cornholio avatar by having to use a krb102 quote as your own signature... I don't think bj.com didn't know about the cd but their balls are in a vice as to what they're allowed to post (how many times did we have info via the internet before it was 'official'?) and if they're working with a big sponsor or something they probably have their balls iin an even bigger vice. bj.com ain't perfect but it's not so bad for a label funded site.

I'd get it for Just Older that was played in August in that cool little set they did in New York.

Instead of the line, 'If you see Coach T, tell him I've cut my hair', Jon sings 'If you see Coach T, tell him I've still GOT my hair.' I thought that was humourous. :)

Coach T was his gym teacher over at Sayreville High. Just a little fun fact for you. :D
