Questions Regarding Etihad Stadium Concert Dec 11

This will be my first major concert, and my parents are driving me down there so we want to be sure we know exactly what to do, and what to expect.

What time do gates open?

Can you buy merch before the show, if so, where would we find the shop?

If the stadium is sold out, how many people can we expect to attend?

When will Jovi take the stage?

When will the concert actually finish? Any estimate? I'll need to know to let my parents know to pick me up.

If you were to read your ticket, you would see that the gates open at 5pm.

You can rely on there being plenty merchandise stalls outside and probably inside the stadium.

It is pretty much sold out so there should be just over 55, 000 people there.

They'll probably come on about 8:45 ish and finish about 11pm.

Mine says about the same thing. I had no idea gates opened so early.

At least I can get merch quite early, and it seems like it won't finish as late as I had thought.

I don't understand why the standing section is behind the seating section?? I have premium tix, which is in the front seating section, has anyone come across seating infront of standing??

Another Q...

Anyone know of a 'meet up' place? I need to let my parents know that its finished and they'll have to find me - is there any kind of place you'd recommend I go to?

Also, what about parking? Seeing it'll be very busy, is there any parking within say, 500m of the venue where we can wait?

Hungry Jacks? That'd be great, a good meeting place after the show. I'll be sure to look for that when we arrive.
I'll remember Spencer St as well.

Thank you!!
