2011 Tour -

Will the 2011 tour still be considered 'The Circle' tour and have the same stage setup? I'm under the impression that it will not have the same stage, but I'm not certain.

I'll be at the first NYC show on February 24th and can't wait to see how this tour might be different than 2010. I attended two shows in 2010 - the Nashville show and the 2nd New Meadowlands show (which I think ended up being the best of the four).

I hope the 2011 setlist is at least a little different; maybe some 'Blaze of Glory' and more from the first two albums, but I'm not holding my breath.

The stage for the North American Leg will be the Circle Stage. It will not be the Circle Tour but Bon Jovi Live 2011 Tour. Setlists are anyone's guess. This is a good example on everyone has a different opinion of shows. I attended all 4 NMS shows and IMO the last show in July was the best show.

One can bet that knowing Jovi, the sets will be very similar to this tour. Blood on Blood will probably remain as the main opener, followed by WWBTF. Bad Name will never move again, Prayer will almost always close the show, with Wanted by its side. Don't expect any new surprises.

Can you explain why? I wasn't there, but from what I've heard and the videos I've seen, Jon was in a pissy mood, the band was making mistakes, it was out of tempo, etc. And besides, the May shows had Dry County.

Aloha !

Like others have said, the shows will have similar setlists and the real differences will only start to appear in Europe, I think.

I attended all 4 shows together with a few friends of mine and pretty much all of us agreed that the last show in July was one of the worst Bon Jovi shows we've ever seen. Like Twinfan said, Jon was in a very pissy mood and did not want to be there at all. On top of that his vocals weren't stellar like with the first 3 nights and the show was just plain boring. It was the most exxpensive ticket I've ever bought for a Bon Jovi show and I honestly hope I'll never have to experience anything like it ever again.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Personally don't care if mistakes are made or what Jon's mood was or is, that is part of a live performance, if I wanted a perfect set I would sit on my couch and listen my ipod. I liked the set list from the 4th night...opening with Raise your hands, In these arms, Old time Rock and Roll with Kid Rock, I'll be there for you, I love this town and Glad all over cover which I love and OPEN ALL NIGHT... I don't like Dry County so it means nothing as far as making it a great show to me.

But like I said in my original post ... everyone has their own opinion on shows attended. I have been to 18 North American shows this tour so far and haven't been disappointed yet.

My vote is that Raise Your Hands will become the main opener.

I guess somebody somewhere had to like it.

I still havent read anywhere where it says that the 2011 show won't be named The Circle Tour. Is it just everyone assuming that it wont be?

buchi 12-27-2010 12:16 PM

on my tickets for Germany and Austria theres no mention of "the circle". Itīs named "Bon Jovi Live 2011".
