i ve read it as well and i was thinking that they are reorganising their touring schedule. we ve all heard the rumours about dates in asia-south africa-israel but this appearence in april 30th is right in the middle of their 2 months gap. does anyone have any info about future dates?
the delay in the announcement of a new leg lets me wondering if there will be one. maybe bj were between an asia-s.africa-etc leg and expanding their north america run with new dates in places they feel there is unmatched demand.
The ideal scenario for me would be a 2 month expantion of the tour through september-october and the band reaching out to new markets like russia-india-israel-asia etc, of course i know they need a break and they will get it no matter what but the gh release and its succesfull run everywhere besides u.s makes it the perfect timing combining the fact that if they want to achieve sth unbreakable like having 3 no.1 tours in 4 years they should give it all to surpass u2 in 2011.:cool:
i am just expressing some thoughts trying to figure out if there will be more legs, having in mind how proudly they mention their touring achievements and not starting again a rival between u2 and bj or wanting them to be no.1 again and again.:lol!:

I see this as the beginning of the short tour before europe ... the announcement is about the NO Jazz ...it's a festival that is NOT a bon jovi organisation ...so it is possibly letting them do that date without much production and then it doesn't mean much about their schedule

me I would say they may begin that 'new leg' unofficially announced dates for south africa isreal etc .... we won't have much more to wait to know , they have to hurry now ...a festival can be announced last minute as they are not the only one performance but for their own dates on their own tour they NEED to do it in advance

I also think they will NOT work during the 2 months between their last dates in the usa and their first date in zagreb ... they will have a break there too

yes but if they dont work during these months then there will be no gap for those dates. you are right about the considerably smaller production, its sth i hadnt thought , still they wouldnt travel from s.africa or asia just for a gig unless it was really really special. the festiaval headliners are announced early because they are the main reason most of the tickets are sold, with the exception of festivals like glastonburry for example.
i think they will add more in us dates in april and maybe add a small leg before europe as you said or maybe they will arrange sth bigger and expand the whole tour. the delay is killing me though because this 2 year tour was really ambitious and succesfull til now and i d liked it to end in a high note.

I think we are just trying to figure out through what they let out until now ..
To me NO is the beginning of the next leg after a break to rest but what do I know ..... also I don't imagine that leg big at all because they would have need to announce it a lot earlier ..

usa fans are expecting a few more usa dates ... and all the fans are waiting for that anticipated south africa isreal etc tour

There are US dates coming in first week of may with tkts going on sale in feb
They can still do middle east and India tour just before Europe as they had done in 2008 at Abu Dhabi then few days later European tour
One week is enough for shows in Israel, S Africa Abu Dhabi and India

Only official is post from backstage admin on backstage JBJ about dates being announced in beginning of Feb

I have missed that is it on the board or on the news page ??

edited to say OK I have found it it's a message from the admin that is very isolated and not too clear

saying a few weeks show will be added in may on sale on february 1st ..it doesnt mention if it's usa dates but as it was a reply in a usa specific thread i assume it will be ... I was wondering what was weeks show meaning it is not a few weeks of shows but a few shows that are not on the week end if I am understand it well

you mean the new dates will only be in the first week of may? so few? maybe a stadium run? probably no
