CeDAR support concert in Denver tonight

http://denvercc-web.ungerboeck.com/c...b1fgmfgofb6ejo

The guys are playing tonight at the convention center in Denver. It's to support the 5th anniversary of CeDAR (Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation). It's being labeled as "An Evening with Bon Jovi", so if it's anything like the 1992 "Evening with Bon Jovi", that would be pretty spectacular. I'm assuming it will be a short promo set, all hits and about 10-13 songs.

Is anybody here going? The venue can hold about 5,000 people as a theater, and 3,000 as a banquet. There will be a dinner according to the link, so I would assume there will be somewhere between 3 and 5 thousand people there.

20. Livin' On A Prayer

After Who Says Jon asked why the men in the front hadn't been singing, and they told Jon they didn't know the words. Jon asked what they did know the words to and the man said "Something Beatles", to which Jon commanded the band to start playing With A Little Help. Jon forgot the words though, asked the man to come out and finish the song.

Not a bad set for a greatest hits crowd.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Hmm, I have a hard time believing you Seb. The main reason would be that it's only 7:36 local time, and I don't think they would've played that long. Nice try. ;)

1. Glad All Over

<sigh> "Why?" comes to mind. I've seen them do this song 4 or 5 times, and the crowd never gets into it. Most people don't know it and don't care to. I hoped it would be banished when Jon blew out his calf while doing it, but here it is again.

2 covers in a 12 song set - seriously :x And the wrong ones too, at least for my taste.

Good to know the guys were in good spirits though.
