Fan Club Presale Tickets

I know this has probably been asked and answered a million times, but how many tickets are you able to purchase with a Fan Club membership.

Have people found that the Fan Club ticket availability has been good or is the access to the presales a waste of money?

Thanks

2 tickets per member per show.

At some shows the demand is quite high so you have to be quick and in time when the sale starts. Some shows the good tickets sold out in seconds.

I don't know about which country you are talking. For Europe where we have generell admission the fanclub pre-sale is worth it because with fanclub tickets you get entry into the venue before anyone else.

For USA I don't know if it is worth it. Some people got better seats at TM than at the fanclub from what I read.

Are you asking about U.S. shows?

I am asking about shows in the United States. I am weighing my options to get the best possible tickets for the show in Orlando.

Because there's a fan club trip for Orlando, that may be a tougher ticket than some of the other shows. The fan club will still get a good number of tickets, but the ones sold as just tickets (as opposed to packages) may be farther back since there's another group (the fan club trip folks) taking a bite out of the pie. It's hard to know for sure what will be offered because of the trip and because that's a new arena.

For most shows, I have been able to get good floor tickets close to (but not ON) the Circle via Backstage if I bought when the initial batch of tickets was put on sale. Sometimes additional tickets (which may or may not be better) are made available later, but there's no guarantee. Like anything else, you need to educate yourself about the seating chart so that you know what's being offered to you, and only buy when you're satisfied. For the upcoming Madison Square Garden shows, I wasn't willing to buy the tickets that Backstage initially offered for 2 of the 3 shows. (The two when there's a fan club trip, by the way.) I got a ticket for one night via a Ticketmaster auction and played the waiting game for the other night. I just bought a ticket for that night on Tuesday when TM dropped more tickets. It's all a matter of how obsessive you want to be!

The fan club does NOT get all the best tickets, and you should not assume that what the fan club offers you is the best that you might be able to get.

Which makes you have to wait an additional hour at least compared to the other people entering the building at a more normal time. The Fanclub enters usually at 5:30 while everyone else is allowed to enter at 6:30. Therefore, if you just want to be in the back of the Gold Circle or Diamond Circle the fanclub once again is completely useless.

On the other hand, it helps a lot if you want to be at the front of one of those circles. Different strokes for different folks.

Not really. Because being front row at a Bon Jovi show has nothing to do with buying a ticket from Backstage. It has everything to do with how early others will show up. If you show up at 4, chances are you'll be standing behind 6 other women who showed up 3 days before and have been camping all week. This means that the difference with you and someone else who buys a ticket through the regular ticket outlets will be 1 row. I managed to get closer to the stage by not being a member of Backstage than I was when I actually was a member.

Come on, Seb. You know me. If I lived in Europe, don't you think I'd BE one of those "6 other women" by now? ;)

You can't be unless you'd honestly take 3 days off for one Bon Jovi show. And no, I don't think you'd be one of them, camping in a tent in front of a venue with no bathroom, toilet whatsoever needing to pee in a cup or quickly in a bar nearby.
