Rarest Live Songs
 

I have to admit that this thread was inspired by the band recently performing Thank You For Loving Me on Valentines Day and that whole conversation about what songs are rare these days.

It got me thinking, what Bon Jovi songs have never been played live, and what songs have only been attempted a handful of times. It has always been mentioned and discussed on the boards, but Ive never seen an actual list. So Ive done some research and have come up with the list below.

I know that this cant be 100% accurate, and I'd love people's input to correct certain figures if they know they are incorrect. There are some songs that I roughly guessed the amount of times it was played and a few songs which I have no idea at all if they were played or not. Anyway, here is what I came up with, including links to songs where there is audio/footage available.

With the exception of a few songs, the box set tracks, outtakes, bonus songs and Burning Bridges, are not included.

From the list, if I could pick a handful to return to the set they would have to be Without Love, If I Was Your Mother, Stick To Your Guns, Cadillac Man, Good Guys, I Am, Brokenpromiseland and Fear.

Has Social Disease ever been played live?

It was played on and off on the Slippery tour. Im pretty sure it was more than 10 times?

Yup, I have a bootleg with a great recording of Social Disease.

I though "I want you" has never been played live...it´s a surprise for me:)

They should definitely bring it back. It could take one of the 'party song' slots.

I think it was a request actually? It was never planned to be played, which is why you can hear Jon say "can you sing it for me?" in that audio clip. It was done acoustically, so technically the electric studio version has never been performed live.

Well I can say I've seen bullet, open all night and wild is the wind. WITW being the best obviously.

I Want You is one of my fav from that album so I would love it to be performed live once ... all my fav from each album are those never played
