Jon's guitar auction
 

I went to the Raleigh show (awesome) and Bon Jovi is auctioning the guitar Jon played in The More Things Change...pretty sweet. I have tix for Chicago, does anybody know if they are going to do the same thing? Have limited funds, would prefer to take my chance on Chicago as it's my home town but need to make sure. It's a crappy acoustic guitar. Jon obviously isn't much of a guitarman if that's all he can play. Play something decent for once and then maybe I'd think about it...IF I had the money, that is.

I for one think its a beautiful acoustic guitar, I really like the sound of Takamine. Just because you don't like the looks and it isn't flashy doesn't mean it's a crappy acoustic guitar.

I don't mean to say that if you play acoustic you are a bad guitarist, just that he should try to drop that bulky thing he has and try something else. He carts that thing around like its a baby blanket, for heavens sake, and honestly, I do think acoustic guitars sound boring. But that's probably just me.

bulk thing? I admit it's useless in some songs, but it's still a really nice guitar. Speaking of which, you'd think that THIS guitar is bulky

Its completely unnecessary, he only plays the 12 string neck during Wanted. And even then he doesn't need a double neck. But it's still a beautiful guitar.

It's a very good electric-acoustic guitar. Bruce Springsteen plays the same model. Do you consider him a bad guitar player as well?
