The last time the band played Chicago was on July 31, 2010. Set balance as followed:

There are rumours going that both nights will be recorded for a possible DVD release. I'd find it odd, 2 nights in Chicago when the band still have a lot of gigs taking place in Europe. I don't see the point of recording DVD's in the USA anyway, but we'll see.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Another DVD would be cool, and the band are certainly in good form right now, but we got an indoor arena show from the U.S. last tour. I'd definitely rather see a DVD from an outdoor stadium show in Europe. Two nights in Dublin; how about that?

The people I heard the rumors from have concluded that it must be a rumor since there isn't a whisper anywhere about these shows being filmed. When they were going to film MSG back in 2008 - they made sure that everybody knew it. That's not the case this time - so probably no filming :(

I would love to be at these shows though - I'll bet that Chicago gets some good ones this time (as they usually do). The band is firing on all cylinders right now.

Yeah, exactly. They'd advertise it everywhere just so people would buy a ticket. To be honest; they'd better shoot a DVD in Europe, better shows anyway and the energy would be sky high. And then Tony B and O B would **** it up in the editing room.

Have a great time!

I am in such a rotten mood, because I'm not there. :( Chicago gets great shows, but I just couldn't spend the 3 vacation days that it would have taken for me to do these. My turn to be a major grouch.

Thanks! I'm flying solo tonight and then my wife and friends Bill and Holly are arriving for round #2. So should be a unique experience tonight. I'll try to post some comments late tonight or tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure (I think) all 3 of those were played at the second night in Chicago in the summer. No point in playing them all again, I think they might switch it up.
