Ending the Circle Tour in NJ?

Does anyone else think that Bon Jovi will announce some New Meadowland Stadium shows this summer? Since they skipped NJ in 2011, it seems fitting that they play their final shows in their homestate. It would be one great farewell party!

What do others think?

From everything we've heard, the tour is ending with the concert in Lisbon on 7/31.

Furthermore, "skipped NJ in 2011" is a bit dramatic, don't you think? Considering that there were 3 shows at MSG and a show in Philly, I think most people in NJ could have gotten to a show if it had really been important to them. A lot of places around the world would love to be "skipped" like that. Come to think of it, I flew to NJ twice to go to those MSG shows, and we made it all the way into the City just fine.

Nope. They already played there 4 times this last year, another would be pushing it. And they NEVER tour in August.

You're saying Bon Jovi wouldn't sell out Giants Stadium if it is potentially their final show for a number of years(at least until the Superbowl in 2014)?

Welcome to the board

To me the distance between NJ east rutherford and MSG is not big (I never stay in NY when I come to visit but in NJ because it's just exactly the same distance wise but less expensive.. )
the band didn't skip NJ in 2011 nor they skipped NY in 2010 ... this is THE SAME LOCATION ...NYC/NJ ....
To say NJ NMS and NY are not the same is somehow stirring the pot !!

(I live in the paris soccer team city which is not paris per se but ST Germain .. no one here think my city and Paris are not the same for the team or for anything else that's the same for Bon Jovi in NJ or NYC... NMS is the stadium for NYC football team new york and east rutherford are the same )

It would be cool if they'd end this tour internationally.... Plus I think I read some rumors about a Lisbon DVD??? :D

Oh God, I hope not! I'd much rather have a last show where anything might happen than one scripted to the max because they're shooting a damn DVD.

I'm with you here Terri - we've been there and done that LOL. We did however get Dry County at that scripted show so I've not complained.

I love the idea of giving international fans the end of the tour this time ....

I also wouldn't mind a dvd but like Terri pointed out often it ruins the spontaneity of the show ... the best DVD are bootlegs not official ....

For the summer I'm planning a two week road trip in August that will consist of lollapalooza, a week in Jersey, a weekend in Ocean City, and 3-4 days in DC. If they plan a final show that week I'll do a backflip from my computer chair, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
