Lack of announced acts for Hard Rock Calling
 

Is anybody else getting slightly concerned by the lack of announced acts for the Hard Rock show? Bon Jovi are the ONLY confirmed act so far on the saturday. This is a bloody festival that's 82 days away with only bon jovi on the saturday and only two acts on the sunday? Leeds/Reading are at the end of August and already have their full sets confirmed (pretty much). I'm starting to worry that it's not going to go ahead...

Different events release their acts when they feel like it. I wouldn't worry as Hard Rock always do this.

Hard Rock Calling is not a big player in the UK festival 'scene' and will have maybe a third (if that) of the number of bands that Reading and Leeds will have. Tiny in comparism. Just be patient.

My thoughts exactly! im not concerned just a bit peeved off that they havnt announced any1 else yet, for me its becoming slightly annoying!

No i know that, it's just that it's really really poor organisation to not be able to release the line up less than three months before the festival.. Surely with less bands than Reading and Leeds it's easier to release the line up earlier?

Imagine the number of "It's alrights" and Lost Highway songs in that set...

From what ive read Prince is headlining the friday night but keeps spitting his dummy out in negotiations over money, apparently they are waiting to announce him and then the rest of the line up. Its definately going ahead.
