Probably the second. I guess no one can say at the moment for sure if Richie will be fine for Europe, even if it is planned.

I'm sure it will depend on how he does in rehab. If he's made progress, they might release him. If he hasn't, he may have to stay longer.

They should show him a vid of Phil playing on KTF, that should motivate him to get back and play better than in a while!! :D

I disagree. The passion was not there from Jon at all. I like Phil but on that song, I really felt Richie 's absence. I was not feeling it at all.

So, uhm...I jusy read in a brazilian website that the last date scheduled with Phil X it's Lisbon, July 31.

Is it true? Did you read it somewhere else?
Or is it just brazilian press being a prick?

According to PhilX he is planned for the month of May. Maybe with the option that it lasts longer but until now plans are just for May.

He wouldn't be able to provide that information anyway until Jon told him he could.

Honestly, Richie's program could go for more than 30 days. There are 90 day programs too.

An interesting point I don't think anyone's considered here, or at least brought up. Richie's backing vocals are on the pre-recorded tracks for HAND, IML and Prayer (In my opinion all 3 use them, I'm sure it's common knowledge by this point). It'll be interesting to hear if they're still used. Richie's voice is pretty easy to pick out.

From the phone call to PhilX to the start of the European tour are nearly 2 month. This means, the program can be longer than 30 days but nearly twice as long.
