If it was Jon in rehab

Would you be happy paying full price to see Bon Jovi with a replacement singer?

Bounce7800 05-08-2011 08:02 PM

The shows would be cancelled. 100%

But *techincally* Gary Cherone is far better*.

*Am making a point here. Not suggesting Gary Cherone should sing for Bon Jovi.

Just to catch you up.... The *entire point of the thread* is "why is it still Bon Jovi without Richie, but not Bon Jovi without Jon?"

And why shouldn't people be able to get refunds if they think it's not BJ without Richie?

The clue is in the surname!
Ultimately it is Jon's band and all decisions come from him. If Jon is sick, there is no decision to be made!

Bon Jovi is Jon's band, so there is no more to it. He can replace the band members as he pleases. Like everything in BJ world is up to the fans, to take it or leave it.

Why dont you ask the 20,000 people at each arena show their thoughts... cause the 2 shows i was at last week tell me that 90% of people in the place are there to see and hear Jon.

The shows would get cancelled 100% sure of it. Wether or not the fans should get a refund is another story and I have my opinion on that matter. Tickets for shows are often bought months in advanced, and you're not really sure what's gonna happen between that time so the venues/promoters should make it easier for their costumers toget a refund (at least 85%) if something unforseen happens between that time and not have the fans basically try to re-sell the tickets for a cheaper price.

But that's just my opinion.....

Don't think too hard about it. The band is named Bon Jovi. More people know who Jon is over Richie. It's that simple. And by this factor, the shows would be canceled if Jon was in rehab. Plus, there's no chance in hell that Jon would allow it to go on.
