What Hit Should They Be Opening With?

Okay, being the GH tour, and they have been a band in the past to open with a track of their most current album, what hit would you like most to see them open with? The current video/lights stay the same. So keep in mind what would it would look like and feel like with the song's intros.

Prayer
Born to be My Baby
Bad Medicine
Lay Your Hands...
Keep the Faith
It's My Life
Have a Nice Day

IMO, Prayer is a very strong opener but to some it'd be like the desert before the meal. I'm going with HAND. I think they should have some electronic music (similar to what was playing before Bounce on the Bounce tour) playing as the curtain is raised. And then RED. It'd be different. Faith is another option I'd like to see them try. I really think any of them could work with the right adjustments... except maybe B2BMB and Bad Medicine.

It's My Life.
I know I've espoused the reasons for this numerous times before, but I'll go through them again.

1. It's certainly, by far, the best know Jovi song of the last 15 years, and up there with LOAP, Wanted and etc.

2. It starts with a bang. Picture a totally dark arena, then kick in the "Bwuam Bwuam" of the talk box, then Jon in silhouette "This ain't a song for the broken-hearted." The crowd would lose their friggin' minds..

3. The crowd would be so amped up at the start of the show, and through the roof at the explosive hit song, that they would carry the whole song. The usual live issues that sometimes plague IML wouldn't be a problem.

It can't be Prayer because IMO Prayer should always be the last song of the night. Always, no exceptions.

I chose IML because out of the songs listed, that one would sound better being played first - and it'd have the audience out of their seats.

LYHOM- Without a shadow of a doubt and bring the pyro back whilst your at it, Prayer is not a bad opener but should remain last song of the set, before the encore.

In fact " happy now" worked really well as a opener, so either or for me.

HAND or IML would be fine openerīs

I believe, Blood on Blood, It's My life would all work for me. Especially the first one.

Out of those, it should be Lay Your Hands On Me as it has a more natural intro to start the show. IML could be good if they made an extended intro in the same vein as the video. Prayer works, but I personally prefer it near the end as for the casuals the show builds up to it and the crowd go wild- the first song gets good pops anyway, so why waste a guaranteed cheer on Prayer that gets it anyway? Faith is epic not not really an opener, along with Bad Med they are good where they are. HAND could work I guess. BTBMB is not much of a hit, perfect as a throwaway singalong-early song where it is.

LYHOM old style with the big intro and tons of explosions when JBJ comes up through the floor.
