Anyone Going to the Hard Rock Calling Show?
 

So I'm going to school at University of Essex starting in October, but per good fortune I'll be visiting the school for a week or two in the second half of June. This, of course, coincides with the June 25th date of their show at Hyde Park.

Anyone else going? What are ticket prices looking like? What should I do to procure decent but affordable tickets?

I'm going. Tickets are about £60 which might not be too bad IF we get a decent support lineup (Ray Davies so far and some small bands on another stage). More likely to get a decent support lineup than at the rest of the UK dates as they seem to be struggling to find anyone again for some reason.

Don't think they are likely to sell out in a hurry so you could probably be safe waiting and picking up some better value tickets nearer the time

Since seeing the announcement i've got the Evaline (one of the small bands) stuff, they're pretty good, worth going to see i'd say. Hopefully we'll get someone half decent on the bill under Jovi though (i.e. someone other than Ray Davies)

I must have missed Davies being added to the bill for Jovi day in all the hoopla about Richie. I guess we're getting either Celluloid Heroes or Lola that show.

Theres another reason not to go then!lol

Wouldn't be for me for me, I love the Jovi version of Celluloid Heroes.
