What is the point?

What is the point in releasing a greatest hits collection with These Days, This Ain't A Love Song and Always when they don't play them in ANY shows in support of the release??? If they were never going to play them then WHY INCLUDE THEM???

Always was being played A LOT before Richie went down.
As for the other two, I don't disagree with you. The reasons have been discussed ad nauseum, but it doesn't make them right.

Phil learned Dry County, I'm sure he can handle Always. I don't think the setlist has much to do with what Phil can play.

I don't either. I think Phil being in there just gives Jon the opportunity to be lazy.
My point was that Always was played a lot on the tour in support of the GH before Riche went down.

Just checled that and it was only played 5 times and for a song which is meant to be on of their all time biggest hits and most recognisable songs, to be played only 5 times is a bit poor

Always has been played 5 times since the start of this leg in February.

Jon thinks of himself like a farmer.

He feeds the livestock what they want, it keeps them happy and docile and he doesn't have to put any effort into learning new feeding methods etc.

Everyone's happy except the animals who have grown sick of the same old feed, but they are in the minority so are ignored and left to starve.

Idiots.

I was SHOCKED that This Ain't A Love Song was on the Greatest Hits. When was the last time it was played? Not on this tour and I can't recall any time recently before that.
