Bon Jovi’s performance at this year’s Hard Rock Calling Festival will be exclusively broadcast live on Absolute Radio.

so they are going to broadcast 4 hours of HRC??


looking forward to this although i'll be at the back of GA i reckon - can't get there til 4pm!

anyone know if they'll do 'the circle' walkway at Hyde Park?

This would confirm the statement made from HRC that Bon Jovi are playing a 3 hour set and are on just after 7. My guess is Absolute will do a half an hour build up, Bon Jovi will come on stage at half 7, play until half 10 and then half an hour of whatever else to close Absolute's broadcast. I can't see Bon Jovi playing for 4 hours and I believe there is a half 10 curfew.

As for the circle I don't think this will happen as the chances are they'll be using the same stage for the Friday and will probably put the GC barrier up overnight.

Jeez, cant remember the last time I recorded something off the radio. I do remember it would be on a friday night and Tommy Vance would present it.

I saw this today that they are broadcasting it. As for the curfew I remember last time they played Hyde Park there was an early curfew but Jon said to hell with it and carried on. Not sure he'll be able to do it this time.

The DJ on absolute Radio has just said there will be 4 hours of Bon Jovi! Idon't know if this means a FOUR HOUR SHOW or if they will be playing Bon Jovi songs on the radio as a warm up before the main broadcast. Either way apparently it is the whole show in its entirety.

I would go with the latter part of your statement. HRC have said 3 hours and I can't see them doing a 4 hour show to be honest. 3 hours 15 mins maximum. I would love a 4 hour show but can't see it happening.
