Official June 19, 2011 - Horsens Stadium, Horsens, Denmark Thread
The last time jovi came to denmark was on the same date 3 years ago...19 June 2008. They played at Giestrup Stadium, Randers, Denmark.
Setlist was as follows: Lost Highway Born to Be My Baby You Give Love a Bad Name Captain Crash & the Beauty Queen From Mars Runaway I'll Sleep When I'm Dead / Jumpin' Jack Flash / Start Me Up / Back In The Ussr Blaze of Glory Whole Lot Of Leavin' This Ain't A Love Song In These Arms We Got It Goin' On It's My Life Keep the Faith I'll Be There For You (Richie Sambora Vocals) Undivided Have a Nice Day Who Says You Can't Go Home Livin' on a Prayer Encore: Always Blood on Blood Fever Wanted Dead or Alive Bad Medicine / Shout Hopefully jon will be ok for the show. Fingers crossed |
I absolutely don't want to sound cynical but it's now, after Jons injury, time for the return of Richies solo song - whatever the reason is/was for its absence in the first place.
|
Letīs just hope the leg injury isnīt serious enough to have a lot effect on the show. But Iīd say itīs obvious that the audience in Denmark will mainly see Jon just standing behind the mic stand.
|
2008 they played at Gl Estrup which is a huge field not a stadium.

Homebound Train worked well I thought, well with the people who knew the song anyway. |

But I agree about Stranger, HT, and IBTFY. I'm sick of LYHOM from him. I've always thought that Jon sounds better on vocals there, and Richie playing the riff in the verses instead of the barely-audible Bobby. Stranger and HT are great, but they cause a mass exodus to the bathrooms and beer concessions, especially in America. IBTFY would be a good choice (especially the 9 minute versions with the long solo at the end). |
