depends where you'll be and what your budget is really. I have a kodak Zi8 which I used in dublin and got some ok videos - good sound and picture, although since I was in GA I had to zoom right in and a mixture of the fact it only has digital zoom which isn't fantastic and I had no way to really steady it all the time meant the picture can be quite jerky. That said on any of the 'budget' (£100-300) video cameras you're not likely to get anything other than a digital zoom anyway and unless you plan on bringing a tripod in...
Also it looks a bit like a chunky phone so you're less likely to attract the attention of any over-eager stewards haha

This is a really good one - Sony DSC-HX9V.

If I were you, I'd just look at YouTube, find your favorite Jovi live recordings in terms of quality, and ask uploaders what camera they were using.

Now, IMO, as far as video recording goes, I think Kuba has the best camera. His zoom is insane:

Kuba's videos are all great, however, I don't like his camera's sound all that much, just sounds too soft for my liking. And as far as sound goes, it all depends on personal taste, I love jovihammer's sound:
However, you can see that his zoom isn't nearly as good as Kuba's. So I guess it's all about personal preferences.

You should get the one I mentioned - this video was taped with it:

I have the sony HX5V, which is the model down but apart from 16x zoom there is not much difference and the video is almost identical to the HX9V.

Its a lot cheaper too !!

The camera of jovigirlfm is pretty good.

The picture quality is great, but the sound leaves a bit to be desired. I don't think the zoom is too great, either. I think zoom is used here, and the quality isn't too great.

I would say find what camera fictionmistress has. Great sound and picture quality.
