Am actually getting quite excited about this gig. No idea why since I haven't seen a truly great gig since 2006 and most likely they will hardly play any rarities. Hoping for Rockin' in the Free World for an opener though (the whole Communist block blah blah)

The venue is an open square in the very very centre of Bucharest, in front of the largest building in Europe. They already started building the stage so yeah, getting excited.

Bon Jovi have not played Bucharest before so there is no previous setlist.

Anyhow, off to the airport. Rock 'n' roll!

the scenery looks amazing, its a pity really they dont invest some money and time to record all these places and release a top notch dvd, i know its not gonna happen but imagine a 2-dvd package, no.1 dvd with a great show from anywhere, no.2-songs from around the world-rarities-backstage moments-sth different and special. the only time bj invested time and thinking into making the diehard fans happy was the boxset. i dont wanna be negative or anything but jon hire a good director, record 2-3 shows, be more strict to obie and so on,,,i was carried away..:scramble:

I don't know why, but I have a feeling this show might be amazing..

This is my first Bon Jovi show and the setting looks great.
I'll be there to queue early although it seems like it's going to be a hot hot day.

Wow, that looks really cool and different. Certainly looking forward to the pics of that gig. And I'm working late that night too, excellent!

The acoustics are not so great in this place especially in the back there is a lot of echo from those buildings. The good thing is the place can hold huge crowds, here are two pics from last year's Ac/Dc (70,000).

got to in Bucharest and had a look at the stage...so the band will be facing that crazily huge building that you see in the background. At night it looks a little bit like this:

Should hopefully make the band give a little bit extra, in the end it's not like they play such a venue every day...
