The OFFICIAL LISBON THREAD ~ Bela Vista Park ~ July 31, 2011

I figured I'd start these last three threads now, for no reason in particular. Notice how I changed the title structure, just to be different

The last time Bon Jovi played Lisbon was in 2008 during the Rock in Rio festival.

This is quite possibly the most anticipated show in a long time. It's the last show of a year-and-a-half-long tour, and the last show (barring an unlikely added leg) before an indefinite break. I, along with many others, are expecting a show nothing short of spectacular.

1. Raise Your Hands
2. You Give Love A Bad Name
3. Born To Be My Baby
4. We Weren't Born To Follow
5. Lost Highway
6. It's My Life
7. Get Ready

8. In These Arms
9. We Got It Going On
10. Captain Crash And The Beauty Queen From Mars
11. Bad Medicine / Gloria / Pretty Woman / Shout
12. (It's Hard) Letting You Go

13. When We Were Beautiful
14. I'll Be There For You
15. Who Says You Can't Go Home
16. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
17. Any Other Day

18. Have A Nice Day
19. Keep the Faith

Encore
20. These Days

21. Wanted Dead or Alive (Richie singing 2nd Verse)
22. I Believe
23. This Ain't a Love Song

24. Livin' on a Prayer

Encore II
25. Always
26. I Love This Town
27. Twist and Shout

I know sometimes the tour finales this decade haven't always been what was expected, I fully expect this show to be completely full of surprises. I don't even think I can make predictions.

No way. The biggest surprise of this tour was Santa Fe. You didn't hear people for months before saying "Santa Fe will pop up", "Santa Fe has to be played".

i'll be there. don't worry, if they even get close to think about playing Santa Fe I'll jump onstage and punch Jon in the groin.

I dunno...I am going to this show with completely no expectations whatsoever.

My biggest hope is that Richie will sing! Hopefully Homebound Train but I will be happy with Lay Your Hands of even I'll Be There.

Either a GH run through complete with TAALS and IAOOL or a great set with plenty of rarities. They can give it their everything and leave it all on stage. It should be a great show. Ill get some extra lottery tickets this weekend and hope I win and can get there! :p

I'll be there too. They better make up for Düsseldorf. Hoping for a mixed-up setlist.

If the 2008 RIR performance is anything to go by, the crowd and the atmosphere should be amazing.

Also looking forward to meeting some fellows from JT!

I'll be there as well, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. You never know with these guys. I don't necessarily want to relive the anticlimactic Twickenham experience.
