Hopes/Wishes for the next Tour
Apologies if this type of Topic has been discussed before.
After this tour, nothing surprises me anymore with regards to setlists. Obviously, I was hoping we get more Circle songs (BPL especially) but I guess it is what it is. And to be honest, I wouldn't be bothered with certain songs not being dropped if they're not according to our liking. For the next tour, I only have 3 Wishes: 1) Bobby gets dropped - as much as I respect the guy, I'm still yet to experience a show with just the original Band. And I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of him. 2) Richie to do all the Solos - it's not just ITA, but even Die 4 U (or if there's any others that I've missed out). The solos need to return to Richie as the sole owner. 3) Jon/AEG has a rethink on Prices - I think it's obvious that not all O2 shows were sold-out, even if AEG claim it to be. I'm not sure whether they've managed to make what they expected to make. But I do believe that slowly some fans will drift away if the Prices get any worse. And let's not forget that this time the Media reported on it, which didn't give the guys a good rep. Anyway, just my few cents :) |
Richie did the solo For Id Die For You in San Sebastian. Other than that, Bobby is to stay, and its more likely that the prices increase rather than decrease.

Bobby does no solos - Bobby has become a part of the band now, and the way the music is now, he is necessary in some songs. But dear god, no more solos. It's mind-boggling how Bobby, a TOURING MUSICIAN, gets more solos than Dave, an OFFICIAL MEMBER SINCE 1983.
Less Lost Highway songs - Pretty obvious. I don't mind the title track, and the occasional WGIGO, but no more I Love This Town or Whole Lotta Leaving. If they wanna do a LH song, please do Any Other Day. Cheaper tickets - pretty much the same as what Mo said above. :) Different set structure - Prayer has been at the end of the concert for 3 tours now, and Bad Name has been early forever. Shake it up a bit! |

to be honest i would just be grateful of anouther tour.......... as im not optimistic of anouther biggy... other than that i have to agree with everything above other than i like i love this town:roll: |
Bobby adds vocals and helps to really fill out the backing vocals in a world where Richie's vocals are lessening for whatever reason that maybe. He adds something too to the overall sound with his guitar and as long as he isn't butchering the lead guitar parts and only enhancing the sound ala Hey God and Dry County, I'm over seeing Bon Jovi as the five man piece they aren't anymore.

I hope they do a Back in the Arena's European tour, would be great to see them in the likes of the M.E.N. etc

Richie come back to Fender
Bring back Bounce songs (Undivided, Everyday, Hook me Up), More The Circle songs (Bullet, Brokenpromiseland) This is Love, This...should be on the standard list. Itīs a stadium hit. Wiht no talk box playback please Put Hugh on the front of the stage, where the bass player usually stay. Keep the Circle stage to do the accustic set Replace Bobby for Phil X Donīt stick to the set songs like Captain Crash and Love this Town Make a real world tour, just like this one (2010/2011), plus a few shows in South Africa. |

And I wish he would figure out his tone. It sounds so thin lately. His tone on the Lost Highway Tour was better than now. And they need to slow down IBTFY big time. It's WAAAAY too fast. |
Hopes/wishes.....
Richie to sing one of his own songs, this will never happen so its ok. |
