Probably I am the only one to say so, but I don’t care, I will say it anyway… I checked JT today after 11am in the morning when the last post in this thread was by captain kid with the link to the album (when it was still working), clicked on it, saw the list of songs and ….closed it after few seconds. I didn’t play any of the songs and I don’t intend to do it until the release date in September either, when I have CD in my hands.
Curiosity is not enough for me to ruin all the fun with this album. I’d rather wait patiently for the CD few months more. I get that most of us here are excited, I am too, more than I have ever been before for any BJ album, but I think it’s just simply not right to listen to the album this way, moreover well over 2 months before its release. Internet is killing the music slowly indeed (I agree with Jon about that). And it’s not really important whether that was done on purpose by any of the people working on the album (I doubt it personally) or just out of pure stupidity from them, hoping no one will notice (I vote for this version). The decision to listen to it is on my side, not theirs.
And now, after spending all day outside, I come back and we have almost 10 pages more with comments about the songs and separate thread with opinions about the album. Unbelievable to me…Seems I am The Last of the Mohicans and probably people like me will extinct soon. Well, hell with that, at least I will extinct on my terms.
