He admitted it on Twitter after fans had found out he was blonde and there's already 3 pics of himself with a blond haircolor. As you can see I did a thorough investigation about this because if there's one thing I follow about this band it's their hairstyles.

Yeah, Richie's making pussyrock already so there we go, he's got the matching haircolor as well now. So far for being the king of cool. He might as well shave it all off, it looks so ridiculous. He really does have the 50 year old housewife hairdo now.

The reason is quite simple. It's quite difficult to cover grey hair with dark hair color. With blonde it's not that obvious that you have grey hair.
