Which was the BEST Bon Jovi show you have been to?

Yes we have had this before but its time to update...

Which is the best Bon Jovi show you have been to? You are allowed no more than 3 shows, I'm not looking for best set etc, in your opinion :)

For me I would have to say Frankfurt 2008 was an out of this world show, memorable for the right reasons :) We went had a laugh and had a great show, yes this was the same year I went to Amsterdam but I do prefer this show.

Hyde Park 2011 :) I can't fault this at all.

I enjoy all Dublin shows so it is a tough call here between Dublin 2006 and Dublin night 1 2011. I think I'll go with 2006 Dublin :) just purely for personnal reasons :)

1. Has to be Hard Rock Calling 2011, it was just the perfect show. Awesome setlist, amazing performance, crowd were really into it. They really blew me away that night.

2. June 19th 2010 at the 02. Extremely interesting setlist, full of rarities and again a wonderful performance. It was also the first time I was actually anywhere near close to the band at a show.

3. Manchester 2008, they were on fire that night, we got a superb setlist and show, can't really fault them at all for that one.

I was at manchester in 08 too, and it was a great show it has to be said, I was in the golden circle too, back in the days before diamond hah. But it was ruined by being opened by the feeling for me.

I liked Milton Keynes in 06 (first night) too, and bristol in 08 had a very nice setlist, but dublin night 2 this year was the best I've had I think, without a doubt. Even though they didn't play Crash and there was no richie song ;P

1.Munich 2008

Probably my favorite show ever by any band. Went there with a guy who I met a few weeks before that show. I got on the train just after an exam and slept for only 4 hours the night before. I hadd to sleep in the basement on a blow-up mattress which was broken. I couldn't sleep at all that night because at the end of that night I was basically lying on the cold floor. The guy was a bit of an autist and really hard to communicate with. I felt sorry for him but at that point I was just cranky due to the lack of sleep. We travelled 7 hours on the train and I didn't know how to survive that day. I had three Red Bull and felt dizzy until the show started. BUT it was totally worth it:-) Best show ever: perfect performance: great energy, great vocals and ALWAYS (after 7 years)

I was soo happy for at least the next concert and told everyone I know that this was the best show EVER

We didn't get home 'til 7 in the morning but it didn't matter anymore.

2. Second O2 show

The performances of Dry County, Always, Bed of Roses, Diamond Ring and Keept the Faith were one of best I've seen, especially Keep the Faith and Bed of Roses. Had a lot of fun with a good friend of mine and also liked the venue.

3. Bremen 2000/ Kiel 2003

Bremen was amazing since it was my first Bon Jovi show with the first surprise being the opening song I Believe which I didn't expect at all. Hardly knew the songs at that time but I remember being flashed by Blood on Blood. Keep the Faith as the last song was one of the happiest moments in my life up to that day. I was "flying" back to my mother's car.

Kiel was the most surprising show I've ever attended. The acoustic set with all those rare songs was mind-blowing AND the end with These Days and NSG was very touching! Never expected anything like this after such a crappy tour (Bremen and Gelsenkirchen both sucked).

Mine are the 3 most recent I've seen, Dublin night 2, Dublin night 1, and Vegas this past March. I got so many bucket-list songs in these 3 shows, compared to my Lost Highway tour show and mediocre Circle Tour show in Phoenix. These 3 gave me:

Lay Your Hands On Me
Love For Sale x2
Dry County x2
In These Arms x2
Captain Crash
These Days
Always x2
Bounce
Happy Now
Damned
Never Say Goodbye
Hey God

And I know some of those aren't rare songs at all but they're songs I wanted to hear, and that's a pretty good output for 3 shows.

Okay, I have only been to 5, but those are my favourites!

1. Oslo, 2011

Not much to say. I'm sad to see that no one seems to mention this show when the talk about the best show in Europe comes up. I have never seen any peformance of any band on planet earth when you could really see the band enjoying themselves and giving EVERYTHING! Jon was so into it from the first notes in RYH and Richie was on fire. But especially Jon, I've rarely seen so into a show. One of the best Bed Of Roses I've heard lately and not to mention I'd Die For You. The set list was almost perfect for my taste. NO LH songs, and filled with great songs. Damned, Love's the Only Rule, Diamond Ring, Wild is the Wind, I Die 4 U etc. Still have chills thinking about the show.

2. London 2nd night, 2010

This one is VERY tied with Randers, 2008. But it was the peforamnces this night that had so much passion and Jons voices was SO good. As earlier metioned Bed Of Roses, Keep the Faith (with Sympathy For the Devil) and Always was great. Never thought I'd got to hear Dry County either, and the congratulation to David was great. When they went of the stage after Wanted I didn't had a clue what to expect. When they kicked into Always after that the arena went insane and it was without doubt one of Jons best nights!

3. Randers, 2008

My first Jovi shows. It was just magic in the air. Jon seemed in a very good mood and he explained before This Ain't a Love Song how cool it was to play in a place like this. It was an open field with a big forest just beside. And the sun was shining till the ending notes. The set list was amazing. This Ain't a Love Song (first time in 12 years), Undivided, Always and Fever was so cool! Never seen an audience go as crazy as the crowd went for Always! Amazing night :o

Not sure anything will ever beat May 1993 at Wembley Arena. It was the first time I'd seen them live after being a huge fan since the release of SWW. I can't actually remember the set list other than it being a god mix of songs concentrating on the 3 best albums to that point; SWW, NJ and KTF, with the added bonus of Blaze of Glory which was and still is a favourite of mine. As an 18 year old away from home for the first time at Uni it was almost surreal experience - growing up in a tiny village in Devon I never thought I'd be that close to the mighty Bon Jovi watching them perform live. It was a dream come true.

Milton Keynes 2001 was pretty damn good - a really long set, the first time I'd taken my wife to a concert and the sun came out. We also weren't one of the people who got stuck in the traffic afterwards!

Hard Rock Calling 2011 is of course up there too for one of the best atmosphere's I've ever experienced at a concert and a great mix of songs.

1. Hard Rock Calling 2011
2. O2 last show 2010
3. Milton Keynes Night 1 2006

Enough said :)

I would like to hear more opinions from people who have been to 20+ shows over 2 or three decades, that would be interesting!
