You are the youngest old fart I know LOL. No way I have that kind of control when it comes to a new album.

The intro to Land Of Hopes And Dreams is breath taking.

So many moments of beauty on this album.

I am not particularly a fan of the drum loops on this song - I prefer Max's drums.

However your point is well taken - so many moments of beauty. In my case I was expecting nothing special and this has been the high point of the last month :D

It's a holiday here in the US and my husband has had it blasting out of his office all day on repeat :)

I work at HMV, so I'll just pick it up on the way out from work. There has already been a few pre-orders for the album.

No music and slower than a week in jail internet in Saudi = having to twiddle my thumbs until I got to the civilised world to get new music.

I had to wait over 2 months till I got back home to get American Slang which was delivered on the release date. That was tough.

Yeah, I agree on the drum loop. It's a bit out of place. It's the vocal at the beginning that blows me away.

I like it that we have a studioversion of LOHAD now but when I want to hear a good version I'll probably stick to listening the only version I already listened, the one on the Live in Barcalona-DVD. I also had preferred if the song would have an ending and not just be faded out as in my believe songs should always have an ending on album ;)
I must say the sound of the CD sounds fresh to me. WOAD was a big letdown for me but this one just might turn it around again :)

I salute you,
TS
