I got GA, that's what I wanted. Read that folks managed pretty good seats too but guess that's more luck than anything.

Bon Jovi, the kings of massive overcharge, we're below $40 in the upper deck last tour. Again, not trying to rip on Bruce, but the way they keep the best tickets comparatively low is to charge way more for the "bad" seats.

You're exactly right, Brian.

Personally, I wish Bruce would just SELL pit tickets instead of doing the wristband lottery. I'd be happy to pay more if was lucky enough to pull them during the ticket sale. I'd always rather be on the floor than in the seats at concerts, but I certainly didn't enjoy being at the back of the floor (surrounded by people who were there to drink and chat) when I didn't get in the pit at the show here. Because of that, I'm back to opting for seats for Bruce.

I still don't get it. Apart from the VIP pricing, Bon Jovi costs are actually quite average and quite good compared to other bands of their caliber.

What I think is funny is that Bruce is leading off this "working man" image, yet charging $80 to sit at the back of a stadium built for 80,000 people. A regular full price floor ticket for Bon Jovi last year was $125, with seats going as low as $20 in an ARENA.

Come to Sweden and buy tickets for U2 or Madonna and you'll have to fork up
around 130-150 dollars to sit in at the back of the Stadium...

Bruce works on the fact he doesn't want VIP attitude or atmosphere in his concerts .. THAT doesn't make him play for low price tickets though (for jovi the back is cheap because a huge part of the goers care for a close look ) .. He is not encouraging the VIP service for 1500 $ a smile and free beers ... It's nothing but something to praise as long as you don't want to go the Bruce concerts with the attitude of the fans from BJ concerts that think it's close view is not an option but mandatory sort of challenge .Clearly Bruce doesn't CARE about the *wanna be up close* worshippers nor he wants to milk the fans who can see his nose hair because he knows as a matter of fact that it's quite impossible to secure those seats for all the shows so the probability to always have the same ppl up front is quite low.You don"t have VIPs neither with the price nor with the attitude

For the shows in Germany they sold Pit tickets.

The lottery in the USA is just unfair. In Tampa the people who came as the latest stood front row while people who came earlier didn't make it into the pit. They gave out 815 wirstbands. No. 611 to 815 and No. 1 to 205 made it into the pit due to the lottery and the Numbers inbetween didn't. The drawn No. was 611 so No. 611 went in first, after him/her in order of their Numbers 612 to 815 and after them No. 1 to 205. Beside that the pit was less than half full so there could have let more people into it. I was lucky enough to make it into the pit but it's still unfair in my opinion. It should be first come first serve without any lottery.

I don't know what I would have done if I wouldn't have made it into the pit with my No. 37.

I paid $55 for my U2 GA ticket, showed up early and got into the pit inside the stage.

Our GA tix are a bit more expensive than that but yes GA here is usually cheaper than seats.
