I just saw the setlist. Funny to see he started the show with playing the last minute of Twist and Shout that was cut off at HRC. Nice set as well!

You sir, got a good show!
I hoped to hear JOAT as well here but he skipped it cause it was a festival-show.

I salute you,
TS

He totally took the piss out of what happened in HRC. Had a giant on / off switch, came on stage, turned it on and continued with Twist & Shout :) then I Fought The Law.
Switch came out at the end too and he had a policeman and an official looking guy saying they had to turn off the switch :) twas funny!

Highlight for me was Jack of all trades. Really loved it.
Got Badlands and Born to Run which were pretty much a given anyways but I love them. Recorded three songs I' A Rocker, Rosalita and My Hometown

Really wish I was going again tomorrow night!!!

My Hometown is my husbands favorite song - he is officially jealous. You sure did get a nice show though. And it's also nice to see them having a laugh over what happened. A sense of humor is essential to survival LOL

It was an incredible night. Probably the best form I've ever seen Bruce and the band in. There was a magic about last night that raised it above Bruce's normal (unfathomably) high standards. Two things really stood out for me though; the first was how good Bruce's voice was, and the second was Jake's performance.

It's pretty cool that I get to do it all again tonight.

Yes why aren't you going tonight?? One thing I've learned over the years...if he plays multiple nights then go to both/three!

Work :(
If it were a weekend I'd be at both shows with bells on!
On the way home now very jealous of everyone going tonight.
Missed a few songs last night that may get played tonight. Last night was still brilliant though :)

Bit of a noob question; have they played Jungleland since The Big Man left us?

Nope, not once. Those of us here in Jersey have been hoping that he will pull it out at Giants in Sept, or even Philadelphia. Certainly Sandy was played after Danny died. Maybe by the end of the tour Jake will be ready to take it on.

If not, I was lucky enough to have heard it many, many times over the years and I guess I will have to be content with that.

Last night's show was incredible as usual. I preferred night 1 but those two nights were every bit as good as Bon Jovi's two nights in the same venue this time last year.

The big news from last night, if you haven't already heard, was that Jake had to play from a wheelchair. Nothing that serious, but he sneezed during the last song on Tuesday night and blew out his back. He was wheeled on (and off) staged and had to be lifted back to his spot with the brass section. Bruce managed to get quite a few laughs out of it but didn't seem to affect his playing one bit. He even "danced" with a girl during Dancing In The Dark.

But you got The Promise which is something that I have never heard live. I am hoping he will play it at Giants this fall.
