Well here is the answer (finally) to September tour dates. The bold in the article is addded by me :(

Bruce Springsteen already working on new album
He took Tom Morello into the studio with him

Though he’s knee-deep in a European tour, Bruce Springsteen is already hard at work on his follow-up to 2012’s “Wrecking Ball.”

"I have a lot of material. I still feel like I'm in the middle of the well,” The Boss told Rolling Stone.

And while you wouldn’t think there would be many firsts left for him, Springsteen cut tracks while on tour in Australia with guitarist Tom Morello, who was filling in for Steve Van Zandt. "We've never had a recording session during a tour in our lives. We did a couple of things that I wanted to put down. So that was very exciting. And being with Tommy was exciting. The band – Steven, Nils, all those guys – continues to be a source of inspiration for me."

He wouldn’t give any details about the direction or when a release date could approach, but just added that after the tour ends in September, he’ll be back at it (which also means for all of us hoping for more U.S. dates, the answer is no...).

"A week or two later, after stopping, I'm in the studio working, making a demo. You stop the performing for awhile, because this level of intensity. . . You need a break from it."

Last week, Springsteen and the E Street Band performed “Born To Run” in full, dedicating it to Van Zandt’s “The Sopranos” co-star James Gandolfini, who died June 19.

Fantastic news about a new album! I'm sure the band will back on the road once it is done.

As you all know, not a Springsteen fan - but Tom Morello is one of my favourite guitarists of all-time along with Richie so I'm actually interested in what might come out in the studio with those two.

I was at the Coventry show last week. Many thought it would be a vanilla show but it was far from it. The fact that the concert was on the day that James Gandolfini had died given it a new light, I was upset but I didn't know if Steve would show up or if he'd be up for it.

The Ghost Of Old Tom Joad was an amazing start (and I must say The Ricoh Arena has the best acoustics out of any stadium I've been in. The sound was phenomenal from start to finish) then he went into Long Walk home which transitioned beautifully. Bruce played a few Steve heavy songs which seemed to cheer him up then they played Seeds which is one of the best live Bruce songs IMO. Bruce nailed the solo. Then Bruce announced they were going to play the Born To Run album in honour of James Gandolfini, the crowd roared and as a Huge Sopranos fan I felt very emotional :(

The band played with an intensity that a lot of people said they hadn't seen a lot on this tour. Maybe Max's mother's death, James Gandolfini dying and it being the week anniversary of Clarence's death pushed the band into another gear. Steve wasn't his usually cheerful self, he smiled a few times and tried to keep on top of things but his mask truly slipped when Thunder Road started and he shed a few tears. The crowd chanted his name at one point too which must have helped him through it.

All in all it was a superb show with unexpected twists and a invigorated Bruce whose voice sounded brilliant. The bar is still very very high.

Now onto Belfast....

Morello came out at Hyde Park last year and did a few songs.

I'm still quite fuzzy from Teacher's New Year yesterday but I'm sure Morella played on the Ghost of Tom Joad album.

He isn't listed in the credits anywhere. I guess I never heard that he played on that album.

Didn't Bruce get to know of Tom when he covered The Ghost Of Tom Joad? I never heard of him playing on the actual album.

I think that is correct. They have played it together several times that I know of and it's incredible.
