Man, did I have a ****ing blast or what???

What a show. It's been 2 years (Bon Jovi in Vienna 2011 actually) since I've seen a show as good as this one.

I have to say his ticket system is ridiculous, the way he divides the GA pit halfway, as I had the cheaper tickets, they were way to far away, so was I. But besides that, what a ****ing great show.

I got pretty much everything I expected. Hungry Heart, Thunder Road, Mary's Place (!!!!! I love this song so much, 2nd performance of the tour), Born In The USA, The Promised Land were all highlights for me. Rocky Ground was always my highlight on Wrecking Ball, so I'm glad it got a showing too. I mean, I wish he also played The River, Glory Days and a few others, but that's on my bucket list for the next tour's show. This definitely exceeded my setlist expectation setlist-wise. Speaking of performance, I didn't expect anything less from him and he obviously delivered. When you have a 3h15min show and the crowd is at its hotest during the encore, you must be doing something right!

One disadvantage was definitely the sound. The echo in the stadium was quite bad. I used to believe in a myth that oudroor shows have better sound than indoors. I saw Eric Clapton in Hamburg O2 a few weeks ago, the sound was great there and was pretty bad for Bruce, so it kind of got shattered.

Still, what a show. Thank you Boss!! I'm probably sounding like a child fan, but I don't give a ****, the whole little trip was so great, can't wait to repeat it. I hope the next album/tour cycle doesn't take too long to start, as watching this 63 year old man it definitely didn't look as he was ready to finish it. The dude was full of energy. Anyway, once again, what an experience. Can't wait for another one, whenever the next tour rolls.

What a set, something for the die-hards, something for the casuals, something for those in between. Brilliant. I've loved almost every set list this tour, but this one seems like a winner so far.

God, I'd love to see him again this summer.

Why, oh why did I get into Bruce just last year and not sooner? I must have missed out on so much...

Thanks to both of you for the links - The River is my favorite album (most of the time) and this track gives me shivers.

Leipzig got lucky tonight with another awesome setlist. Tour premieres and they got Back In Your Arms which is a gem in my opinion.

(the crowd seems pretty dead)

What a legend.

I salute you,
TS

Holy Hell! Bruce is playing some amazing songs at the Rome show! I'm not a huge Rosalita fan, but this little stretch of the show is awe-inspiring:

13. Kitty's Back
14. Incident on 57th Street
15. Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)
16. NEW YORK CITY SERENADE w/Strings from the Symphony Orchestra of Rome

Can't wait for the videos of New York City Serenade to hit!

I knew Rome was going to be special, but I did not see this coming. Nope. I was following the setlist on Twitter and my jaw was dropping every 5 to 10 minutes. And to think I was supposed to be there... :puppydog:

I wonder how the casuals took that set.

And Incident - it's one of my favorites.
