**edit** I'm wrong - night 2 is up on Jungleland whoo hoo :-) Let's hear it for technology - otherwise we nutso fans would not get to hear such an experience. |

Have you seen the pro shot video of Independence Day? |

I hardly dare to say it but with Easy Money Patti again knows how to ruin is. She is so out of tune with those parts. Would be a good reason for me not to play the song anymore or at least without her 'singing' ;-).
It's good to see more and more cities got 1 or 2 awesome shows from Bruce and the band. I did not expect such shows when this tour just started but man, some fans in some cities really got a big treat! I salute you, TS |
I watched the making of Born To Run documentary for the first time today. I found it very interesting and pure. It's interesting to see what a struggle it was to get the songs recorded and the album released. Lots of different arrangements for the songs, a lot of layers were used. Very interesting documentary, as interesting as the one of the Darkness box in my opinion.
I salute you, TS |
Yeah they're both very good documentaries IMO.

Anybody know why the stage stays on the left or right (out side) side of the stadium ? Stage stood like that in Milano and tomorrow in Vienna.....
|
Can't say for sure, I've only been to one show at San Siro way backin 1986 but it was the same then as well.
Here at our stadium, Ullevi, in Gothenburg, they do the same when they don't expect to sell out the entire place. |
Can someone please recommend some good quality bootlegs? Both audio and video? Thanks :)
|
Enjoy the show anyone who's going tonight, wish I was! And make sure you dress appropriately for mud and rain :p

I get curfews, but pulling the plug on Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney is insane. |
Well curfews count for everyone and every artist. Ofcourse, if I would have been there I would be baffled as well but in the end Bruce and Paul are artists like every other band or musician and they all have to stick to curfews. Yes he is a legend, a true artist but he has to stick to the rules as well. If he wanted to do those songs with Paul he should have planned it earlier in his show in my opinion.
Bruce or not, curfews are rules, rules have to be sticked to. Simple as that. Then again, if he passed the curfew by 30 minutes, those extra 2 minutes wouldn't have hurt either I am sure. Wondering if Bruce will be doing Hard Rock Calling again in the future. I salute you, TS |

Just been watching Tougher Than The Rest from Vienna. What a performance. I wasn't there but I still got goosebumbs. Such a pity that song isn't in his set all the time.
I salute you, TS |
That gig was sensational.
I had to leave after We Are Alive but got to hear the rest of the encore (though I obviously didn't realise McCartney was onstage at the end) Was only when I got on the bus, a guy sitting next to me said they'd pulled the plug. Either the show was amazing. I can honestly say it's the best gig I've ever been to. They were on fire right from the get go and the stuff like playing the tune for the Spanish dude and getting the kid up onstage just shows how much a class act Bruce is. |
Yea, i was in Vienna and Trieste and i must say, he is the best performer ever. I still got goosebumbs!
Thougher than the rest was really something special! |
The whole set was great. I can't think of one lull in it which is no mean feat given how long he played for.
Was worth the touch of sunstroke I've picked up and a horrible bus ride home with next to no sleep. In the run up to this tour I've been thinking that this might be the last one they do and it bummed me out but if it is, they're going out on a high note. |

Just back from the RDS. Fantastic show. That man is just so AMAZING!!
He totally took the piss out of what happened in HRC. Had a giant on / off switch, came on stage, turned it on and continued with Twist & Shout :) then I Fought The Law. Switch came out at the end too and he had a policeman and an official looking guy saying they had to turn off the switch :) twas funny! Highlight for me was Jack of all trades. Really loved it. Got Badlands and Born to Run which were pretty much a given anyways but I love them. Recorded three songs I' A Rocker, Rosalita and My Hometown Really wish I was going again tomorrow night!!! |
I just saw the setlist. Funny to see he started the show with playing the last minute of Twist and Shout that was cut off at HRC. Nice set as well!
You sir, got a good show! I hoped to hear JOAT as well here but he skipped it cause it was a festival-show. I salute you, TS |

It was an incredible night. Probably the best form I've ever seen Bruce and the band in. There was a magic about last night that raised it above Bruce's normal (unfathomably) high standards. Two things really stood out for me though; the first was how good Bruce's voice was, and the second was Jake's performance.
It's pretty cool that I get to do it all again tonight. |
hahahah, check this out :
yesterday was one hell of a show  |

If it were a weekend I'd be at both shows with bells on! On the way home now very jealous of everyone going tonight. Missed a few songs last night that may get played tonight. Last night was still brilliant though :) |
Bit of a noob question; have they played Jungleland since The Big Man left us?

If not, I was lucky enough to have heard it many, many times over the years and I guess I will have to be content with that. |
Last night's show was incredible as usual. I preferred night 1 but those two nights were every bit as good as Bon Jovi's two nights in the same venue this time last year.
The big news from last night, if you haven't already heard, was that Jake had to play from a wheelchair. Nothing that serious, but he sneezed during the last song on Tuesday night and blew out his back. He was wheeled on (and off) staged and had to be lifted back to his spot with the brass section. Bruce managed to get quite a few laughs out of it but didn't seem to affect his playing one bit. He even "danced" with a girl during Dancing In The Dark. |
But you got The Promise which is something that I have never heard live. I am hoping he will play it at Giants this fall.
