HAND quote by Eastwood

In this video and on wikipedia, Richie says that Clint Eastwood said the quote "Have a nice day" in his early movies. Anybody have a video of Clint saying it or any info about this thing?

He's not saying Clint said it, he's saying it's said with an outlaw/badass tone.

"Richie Sambora says that the title of the album is meant to be said aggressively, likening it to the way that Clint Eastwood said "Have a nice day" in his earlier movies" by wikipedia

You mean that he is not speaking literally?

Richie's and Jon's quote goes something like "... the way that Have a nice day is meant to be said in the song and on the record is not like (smiling) "Have a nice day" it's more along the lines of an eastwood-esque (waving middle finger in the air) "Have a nice fvcking day"....

Wikipedia is not the holy grail of information, everyone knows that....

I'm sure it was probably one of eastwoods many one liners. a sentence of one syllable words akin to '**** you'... has to be in there somewhere haha

Why bring this up again. Use the phrase anyway you want. Enjoy the song anyway you want. Post on FAN CLUB message boards and you never know where things will end up.
Many people use that line in customer service everyday around the world. But, I do like how Jon and Richie turned it around into "an Eastwood thing" Creative.;)

You're asking us to compare a wiki entry about something they might have said versus a video of Richie saying something different. It's tough to make that call. There may be an interview where they say it's from a movie, I'm just basing my opinion on this video clip. It's about an Eastwood vibe.

Hey guys cool....

Yes wikipedia is not the best source. We have richie saying something in the video.

So I'm just asking: Clint ever said the quote in his early movies? If yes, do you know which movie and do you have a video of him saying it? If no, ok he is not speaking literally.
