On a side note, I can not stand Justin Bieber. I can't wait for his 15 minutes to be up. I've seen a ton of these dweebs come and go but this is one I really dislike. I can't stand his music, his voice. He's going on 18 but still looks 10. He was on TV trying to rap some Christmas song the other day and it was disgusting. He just needs to go away! lol

"Justin Bieber may be more famous than Jon Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney and Bono..."

Excuse me? How did they come up with this statement, by polling 10 year old girls?

" The Jersey rocker and his band generated $449,932 in press for his ...Soul Kitchen; that number represents over 2% of Bon Jovi’s own media value.
Second on the list is Paul McCartney, who conferred $1,065,013 on PETA. That’s about 1.4% of his personal publicity value. U2 rounds out the top three, donating publicity worth $1,021,768—or 0.72% of frontman Bono and rest of the group’s total media value—to the ONE campaign."

I'm not good at math but if Bon Jovi's $449,932 represents 2% of their media value and U2's $1+ million represents .7% of its media value, doesn't this mean that U2 has more far more publicity value than Bon Jovi? This dovetails to U2 being ranked so high in tour statistics and earnings when they, in fact, performed less concerts than Bon Jovi. Jon may try harder but Bono wins. [But good on all of them for supporting their causes]

I don't think the people at Forbes are "fans" of anyone. They just go by the numbers.

Well just look at their recent tours. On the 360° Tour, U2 played 110 shows, while on The Circle Tour, Bon Jovi played 144. However, all of U2's 110 shows were in stadiums, so they played in front of 50,000+ sized crowds every night, sometimes up to 100,000. Over half of the shows on The Circle Tour were in arenas, where the max size would be about 20,000-25,000. So of course U2 would make more revenue. And both tours were in a way on their own, because neither The Circle or No Line on the Horizon were extremely massive albums.

No kidding. What a stupid statement.
