Hi there (I don´t know if this thread is ok here), I just wanted to share with everybody the greatest BJ Tribute I´ve been to
This is the INCREDIBLE set list:

Seems a strange set for a tribute act to play. All lesser known songs and absolutely non of the hits. I mean, not even Prayer or Wanted?

Bad Name (a Bon Jovi tribute of which some on this board are members) throw in a lot of fan favourites in their sets, but I still couldn't see them missing out some of the iconic Jovi tracks. No matter how die-hard your fan base is, looking at that set, I'd still feel something was missing.

Yeah, that set is what die-hard-fans wanted to know... the show was focused on them, that is the reason of no-prayer-wanted-life....

And of course, after listening a 1000000 times Prayer, wanted... I PREFER THIS SET LIST YEAH!!!!

I agree that prayer, wanted, IML can become a tad over played but it's always good to have them on the setlist. I don't think the above setlist suffers because of the lack of them. In fact that is an awesome set and if Bon Jovi would reproduce that setlist then I would be literally bowled over. I can't ever see it happening though.

As for the posted youtube vids, thanks for showing. It sounds like everybody was having a great time.

I´m sorry about the quality of sound, but it doesn´t matter, enjoy what BJ haven´t played in 15 years :)

This opens a question... what do you prefer???? (of course this depends on the type of auction you are going to have (in this performance, 90% were Die Hards)
- Standard set list (no rarities)
- Mixed Standard + rarities
- Die-Hard-Fan set list (all rarities)

As die hard, I will always prefer Die Hard Fan set list, no prayer no wanted...
What do you think???

The die hard set list most definately appeals to me and would be the one I'd most likely want to see. But if the majority of the crowd were there to hear songs like Prayer & Bad Name then I don't think it would work. I still believe that 60% of people who go to see Bon Jovi are there just to see the old faithfulls.:( That was massively evident in my opinion at Zeebrugge last summer where the crowd only came to life for the big hitters.
