We all have a lot to thank SWW for... it was the band's last shot at success after two not so great albums (commercially). But they more than delivered with the third record.

The album was ranked as the 4th best Bon Jovi album by Jovitalk members during Album Rankings last month. Now it's time to rank the tracks individually...

This is my all time favourite album. A lot of people think it is inferior to NJ, but I dont see how that's possible with Prayer, Wanted, Bad Name, Wild In the Streets, Raise Your Hands, Without Love and Never Say Goodbye on the one album.

Without Love is amazing and I dont understand why so many people dont like it. On the other hand, I think I'd Die For You is over hyped a bit too much by fans. It's a good song, but nothing spectacular IMO.

The only song I rarely listen to from this album is Social Disease (and Let It Rock occasionally).

The top 7 songs I ranked are all in my top 30 Bon Jovi songs. Theyre that amazing.

And final point... Livin' on a Prayer is the greatest song ever! :p

My fourth favorite bon jovi album, although its quite far behind these days, keep the faith and new jersey. The singles are great, but i don't listen to most of the rest of the album.

Because NJ has Lay Your Hands On Me, Bad Medicine, Born To Be My Baby, Living In Sin, Blood on Blood, Wild Is The Wind and I'll Be There For You. NJ had 2 more songs (though short) and was a better album overall. I agree, Prayer and Wanted are in the top 3, but NJ didn't have any filler at all.

Agreed, they are all great songs, but I like the Slippery songs better as a group overall.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE New Jersey - how could someone not love it? But like I said, overall I prefer SWW track listing.

The more I hear Bad Name, the more I dislike it.

Yeah i have the same feeling, most of the songs on Slippery are overplayed. Prayer is a great song, but i could easily go a couple of years without hearing it again.
