Esp Sa-2
Any Idea why ESP SA-2 is discontinued by ESP Guitars?
|
It's really a shame that the guitar is discountinued because it ruined idea of it being a cheap, affordable guitar for everybody with just enough quality to use it succesfully.
I think it was a nice idea considering high LTD's rather good and consistent quality compared to brands like Epiphone. I'm sure that in 2008 they didn't plan to stop production after like 2 years or less. And now i will be mediocre guitar, which will cost much more than it's worth as it will be available only used as a rarity probably. Especially like in 5 years from now it could be really pricey. So it's really a shame and rather weird story with that really nice SA-2 guitar. |
I can't see the price of it increasing all that much tbh. It wasn't high end enough to be collectable so you should still be able to pick one up in a few years time for under £400 I reckon.
You only need look at the old Mexican Standard Sambora strat to see that the prices are still easily affordable. |
To be honest - I've owned one, thought it was crap. I've sold it one month after I bought it. The pickups where shite as well as the Floyd Rose.
Mine came with an incredible amount of fretbuzz too. I wouldn't recommend this guitar to everyone. |

Well what about the price? I mean how much did you bought it?
Well I was thinking of buying one "ESP SA-2" because I play as an amauter guitar but also because I would like to make it a part of my Jovi Collection, but I still can't understand why they stop the production of it. |
