Livin' on a Prayer - Improvised Solos?

Hey,

Apart from in 2004 (can't remember the concert/place), has Richie ever improvised on the solo for LOAP?

2004 Solo Improvisation:

He improvises on the solo all the time, just not to that extent.

he butchered that one :D

haha

he's improvised since 2000 i think. he never shreds the end. it sucks!

There was one very different sounding at a one-off show early in 2010 or 2011 I think but I guess that was rather screwed up than improvised...

I agree, he screwed up and not improvised. That Atlantic City video that you put, you would actually think it was Bobby playing the solo if you didn't see the visual.

I like the ending he does now better than the original ending.

Really? I mean it wasn't TERRIBLE. It was just different then the standard solo. So far from the one note shlock Bobby would have given us.

But to me that's one of the untouchable solos you can't shake up. Faith, Sleep when I'm Dead, Saturday Night have solos that always change, Prayer should not be one of those songs.
