Yeah, that's over 15 years ago. I doubt anyone is thinking "We did it in 1995 so we could do it again". The market has changed, if they play a new song once it'll be all over YouTube within a day where as in 1995 it could take well over a few months til you'd heard the recording of a show.

We have some facts aboutnew record and other things:
- "What About Now" is title of the new album for now but not accepted yet
- 1 single is called "Because We Can"
- 2 single will be probably "I Am With You" which is very social..
- Album is very social minded
- It's optimistic album
- There is song called "Is Anybody Wants Left With Me" (or something like that)
- I don't know what he says about %

They wrote 43 song last year
Jon is recording now songs for movies (not only Pacino movie??)
They wrote 2 songs for B&Rich album

-----
It's looks like WANow is songs from new CD
I like title from new album. Very Live my life kind of song title ;P Which I love
I Am With You remind me "I Am" so it's very good sign

Someone can look about this because I could miss something or don't understood right something.
I am preattty excited now

Well, if they wrote 43 songs it is most likely about quantity and not about quality. "What About Now" sounds like a bland song title, but it can be misleading. I will never understand how they can be so fond of mass customized songs but otherwise they wouldn't be able play stadiums from their point of view, so it is probably not going to change in the near future :-(.

I am not excited at all but with low expectations it can only turn out ok, I guess. If the album contains one or two songs in the vein of Happy Now or Thorn, it won't be THAT bad.

I was under the impression Jon said they cut 43 songs meaning between the new album, the solo soundtrack songs, Richie's album. That being said, I really see this being a Jon heavy album, writing credit wise.

I think that would probably be for the best. I mean, nothing against Richie but, something's wrong since every time they advertise an album as a Richie's influence heavy album it turns out to be a slight commercial disappointment. It happened with Bounce, TLFR, then HAND they said nothing of the sort and Bam! Commercial success! LH they said nothing of that sort again, and Boom! Another commercial success! Then came TC, and with it the promotion of "Yeah this is Richie's record, Richie's all over this bad boy" etc and ploof!! Commercial disappointment.... lol, I'm really just messing around here but kinda and not really :p ....

Typical for the first album after a break - see KTF, Crush or even HAND.

Also - they did it with NJ and also Bounce, but they didn't release solo stuff in between those... on the other hand, judging by its quality, Richie apparently didn't safe all the good ideas for his solo record!

I'm under that impression too. From the recent fanclub event, he mentioned something along the lines of how Richie had been writing for his solo CD, he wrote songs for the new Bon Jovi CD (or just wrote songs in general)

Even Jon admits Crush was both a Jon and Jon and Richie album while Bounce was Jon and Richie from the start.

Eh, the solo album thing is a matter of opinion. But I think he tries too hard when writing for the band to either impress Jon or impress the audience, so I'm excited that he had less of a hand in the writing aspect of the band album.

What does it mean the album is very social? They will use the terms Facebook, Twitter a lot?!

i agree, richie is a trully gifted musician but imo jon is a far superior songwriter. i also feel positevily about the heavily jon oriented songwriting. jon is a bit unfair and strict as far the credits go though...dry county is credited only to jon, sth unfair imo cause even if he wrote all the chords-melodies-structure the solo and the whole middle section surely is a band/richie effort and they should be credited...another topic but i always thought this was wrong in a way:evilbat:

No, it means as in very much about the social environment. You know, more songs about how hard it is to live your life, and a lot of deep messages on how we've only got eachother and we've got to rely on eachother to help the world get to a better place again.
