I doubt that. Micael Jacksons netto worth worth was 600 million before his death and 1 billion a year after his death when he'd just stricked a new record deal with Sony. Looking at how many records he sold before the new deal and how many Jon has sold I reckon Jon's netto worth is a lot less than 1 billion.

Jon does not have $1 billion. The band has without question made that amount of money (and then some), and Jon has many other outlets through which he makes money, but it's nowhere close to $1 billion.

That being said, I've read several times that Jon is the wealthiest rock star of his generation.
