Sambora playing signature models

As I might have mentioned, I am basically stuck on the sofa and can't walk. Which means I have plenty of time to waste. Some of that time I waste watching Bon Jovi clips on youtube. And I noticed that on the LH tour Richie was using a Matthias Jabs Signature Strat (Mastercaster).

It's a great guitar with a very sweet tone. Was wondering, has Richie played another guitarist's signature model in the past? I know he used to play his own Kramer's and Strat's later and then that dreadful ESP signature. But other people's? Curious.

"a very sweet tone" ??? Methinks he mostly uses its dirty sound on the contrary! To me, "sweet tone" woud be Mark Knopfler's strats and copycat strats tones.

I'm as curious as you upon the matter and never could find any other sig model played by Richie... but it doesn't mean that he didn't! The Quest goes on! ;-)

Now I wouldn't be surprised to learn he owns a Maton Tommy Emmanuel sig model like Slash...
