We should meet, start a fight with some randomer and hate on the English. :-)

Nothing like stereotypes...

Poor choices for sure. They are not bands that will draw people all the way to Slane. If its Irish bands in the line up then adding The Script would by far be the best choice. With their fan base tickets would be swept up. Be a great show! Cant see it though. More likely that The Script will headline Slane themselves soon..

Those support acts won't draw much interest from casuals but I kind of like the idea of going to a show and seeing some bands I've never heard much of before, it's a bit like going to a festival.

Haha except my wife is an English Bon Jovi fan and she may just take exception to that!

Sounds to me like we have someone to beat up on :-)

Thanks guys for holding up the stereotype! I'll be the American in crowd being highly entertained by Scots and Irish getting drunk and fighting because if Richie doesn't show up I'll need some added entertainment. If there's an American stereotype I should adhere to please let me know - I want to fully participate as much as possible!

If you could be loud and obnoxious that would be great.

If when Dave, Tico and Richie (fingers crossed) are introduced to the crowd, you could say "Who are these clowns, I want to see Jon shake his ass", it would be much appreciated.

If they play Dry County, it'd be super if you could say "What is this sh!t? I want to hear Who Says You Can't Go Home?"

Because everyone knows American fans haven't a clue :-)

Even in fun I don't think I could say "I want to hear Who Says You Can't Go Home." - If they NEVER played that song again I'd be over-joyed!

I'll work on bringing the loud and obnoxious though, particularly when Jon shakes his ass. ;)

Thanks for letting me know what's expected!

Actually that's what Scots have been doing since James VI so I was just following the pattern ;)

Good to know we'll be keeping the reputations of our respective countries intact.
