Support for Jovi 2013

I know its a bit early for guessing who,ll support BJ next year but lets hope they really get someone to warm up the crowd. Vintage Trouble were ok,but not really someone to support Jovi. Same with The Feeling(where are they now?) and Biffy Clyro???!!! Whats JBJ,s problem with having a good hard rock act to get the crowd going? He shouldnt worry about being given a run for his money, instead show em how its done. Opinions?

Whoever it is it won't be worse than Joan Osborne.

Jovi have had some really poor opening acts since mid 90s

Support?

Won't hold my breath as haven't seen a decent support band (Nickelback excepted) since Matchbox Twenty & Billy Idol.

Last few tours have been really poor. Let's bring an end to this local band or unknown rubbish & actually get someone good on like H.E.A.T or Eclipse, bands that actually rock!!

To think, they had Van Halen in 95. Now that I would gladly pay full money for next year. It,d make sense too,and sell a shitload more tickets.

Get Black Stone Cherry to support. Would be fantastic.

Now thats a good shout too,JBJ should write some music with Erik Martenson(sp) and then he could say theyve written a big rock record. Bleed and Scream has been on constant playback since the day of release. Pure melodic rock at its finest.
Where you from mate? Off to Nottingham Rock City tomorrow night to see Vega(another good shout for a support act) and at the same time getting tickets for H.E.A.T. at the same venue next year............£3.00 yes 3. fookin
quid. Thats cheaper than the first time I saw Jovi headline in 1985.Cant wait for that one.:D

Since Nickelback I haven't been in the stadium until just before Bon Jovi come on stage. I do think its about time that they do have someone decent opening next year, just not sure who.

I think its safe to bet on a strong supporting lineup for Slane at least, such is the tradition on that festival.

Posibile and feasble support acts, who have new albums out and are touring could be..

Train (supported Jovi in the states last tour, new album out)
The Script (Huge in the Uk and Ireland, new album to promote)
Matchbox 20 (supported Jovi before, also have a new album out...)

Basicly any popular Pop/Rock act..I think they actually need a big second name for the ticket to help shift tickets in the current climate..

I would hope its someone decent that could actually help sell tickets. Jovis support has been lacking the last few tours, people want a full bill of support. I love checking out all the support acts- 2 or 3 support acts, one small up and coming band then 1 slightly bigger, and maybe 1 theatre/arena band would be perfect.

Who would it be? Not sure to guess at the moment. Steel Panther would be hilarious, but not Jovis scene anymore and not very family friendly. The Darkness JBJ doesn't get or like. Killers, Kings Of Leon, possibly Manics- all too big in their own right. Maroon 5 a bit poppy and maybe too big same for Keane. Train?

I really don't know. Would be nice to have a big band with known songs in there.
