I swear to God, I love 'em and all...but I would absolutely hate this band if I didn't love the pre 95 stuff so much. No doubt I will listen to this track a million times and try to tell myself I like it...but...nah.

I'd listen to WFTWM and ILTT 100x times in a row but won't listen to this ... What is Jon thinking ??? This is beyond awful ...

If it wasn't for Jon sounding so nasally and that awful solo, it wouldn't be too bad.

I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It's something that will grow on me. The first part reminds me of The More Things Change. I hate when they start a song like that.

I like the drums in it and I think it's very catchy but it's something that I wasn't expecting at all. I don't know what I was expecting really.

Just hoping this isn't the best song on the album.

It's so horribly cheesy..... I can't believe the same band that writes Hey God writes this. It sounds like Asian pop! Just imagine that with Japanese vocalist instead of JBJ. It's not hard to do. What is with the little sound effects? So weird how Not Running Anymore is the total opposite to this and released around the same time.

As for the solo - when was the last true great Sambora solo? Probably on the These Days album.

I would say Any Other Day, and I like some of the solos on Have a Nice Day, too.

I think Arnold hit the nail right on the head:

No, because "This'll Be My Year" is a fantastic song. If it sounded like that I'd be happy. At last that song has some guitars in it.

The guitars were actually pretty similar, that's what made me think about the two songs sounding similar to begin with.

We have been fooled. Again.

I replied to his twitter question by telling him I miss his awesome guitar solos.

1 question - When did Richie leave the band?
