Here is the iTumes Apple chart from around the world and it's selling. It's either one or two. In the US it's at number 1 and in Australia 1. If Bowie hadn't released his song, it would have been number 1 in all countries, I think.

I honestly would rather this song got nowhere near the charts because I don't want people to know that this is the work of Bon Jovi.
I gave it another listen. It just leaves me with a sour taste. |

I listened to the song a few times today and got to say it is catchy! I hope it does well at radio.
I will be interested to see what other songs they release before the album comes out! I expect the others will be quite different to this and appeal to different people. I think because you can is a fun song and had it just been an album track and not the first single maybe more people would enjoy it (in the context of an album), not comparing the two songs but kind of how 99 in the shade is for New Jersey! If that makes sense? But in my opinion I don't think it's a bad song, it's upbeat and different to what I expected, I will be interested to hear the other songs once released. |
