I find this site hilarious.

Let me get this right.

A bunch of fans who don't sound like fans get on a Bon Jovi site and constantly tear the band to shreds no matter what they release.

On top of that,They still attend the shows but then criticise the set list and Jons' voice.You call yourself fans?

Have any of you morons had a hit single or an album out or even toured extensively for that matter?BIG ****IN NO.

But you will criticise this band over and over again.If you don't like them why come here???

As for this SEB guy...who the **** are you?Are we supposed to know you?

Mate don't be so jealous that this legendary band has made great music for 30 years while you're still trying to put out a single.

By the way the new song is awesome..so stick that in your pipes and smoke it.

I tried listening to it again yesterday. I still hate it. Maybe even more. Only parts I can remember are the first parts of the melody for the verses and chorus. The song is a lot like WWBTF in that respect, if you look beyond those first lines the melodies just repeat over and over. Unless you count that second chorus that is a straight rip from WDYG. Or Some Fun. Whatever. This song is bloody awful.

I only say what I think, sorry for that.

I'll be honest, I though that Jon's voice was going to suck because of all the comments I read online but as I said after the concert and I still say, at least in Argentina, he rocked, his voice hasn't been that good in years! Really, I was more than satisfied with his performance (and of the whole band) and really it was one of the best nights of my life. Also, I followed the tour via YouTube and in Canada his voice seemed to be even better than here, like he improved (remember the HAND era, that sucked).

As I said to a friend, if he didn't sing well on the 12/12/12 concert is because they aren't touring, as soon as they hit the road Jon's voice will get better ;)

Saying that is like "hey, you can't talk bad about the government because you've never been a politician!".

To talk good as soon they release the album, I'm sure I'll like something on it.

LOL.

If you think this is awesome, good for you! I don't think the same. To me I Believe is awesome, Hey God is awesome, even It's My Life is awesome, but in my opinion this is far from awesome.

Pretty simplistic way of communicating.

I've been here over 10 years, hate the song and I'm going nowhere, thank you very much.

There's nothing hater about liking Bon Jovi when they release material of substance.

I don't have a problem with JBJ's voice. The guy's 50. Fair enough.

Just because I'm a fan doesn't surely mean I have to blindly love every song they put out.

And just because I don't like one single, doesn't mean I don't have a right to call myself a fan.

Grow up.

I'm glad you love the site, the diversity of the fanbase and the acceptance of polarised views is exactly what makes it what it is... if you want a love-in, go to Backstage and you'll no doubt find plenty of people who just want to talk about how great everything is in the world of Jovi.

Explained this before but; if you have invested in a band; emotionally as well as financially, then their output, good or bad, is something you want to talk about. When you want to talk about it, you need people who understand. It's why I come here. Hope this gives you an insight into some of us who aren't being complimentary about the song.

I don't smoke anymore, so I can't stick your post in my pipe but I could print it out, roll it up and wipe my... no! I am being nice. Thank you for your insight.

And for the record, another two of my favourite artists, David Bowie and Nick Cave are currently promoting two of, in my opinion, their worst singles ever too.

But I still love them. Because I'm not 5.

To be honest. People usualy need have place where they can take their frustration, negative emition and let them go.
This board is good place for things like like this.

I don't need come to board bands which I hate to proof how I have great taste of music.
I don't need. I don't like production ow BWCan but I won't do any other threats in which i will say again, again about production, about shanks ecc.

If it will be any chance to say for example to Jon something. I will say that there are many others great producers han Shanks. But I won't say on every topic about how I don't like this production.

Critising on everything show that people who do that has problem.

Fans can also criticize. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to praise each and every of their work.

I think this site gets an unfair rep for being too negative. I think what you mistake it for BobbyJovi is us micro-analysing every little thing. Its like having a Bon Jovi thread on another forum you get a general conversation, but here we literally discuss every little thing about the band. Some good, some bad. Some people more negative, some more positive, some on the wind up.

Its been said before that's it like supporting your favourite football team, and its a perfect analogy. You may abuse and criticise from the touchlines, but you still support them and want them to perform to their best. Saying you cant pass opinion if you havent had a hit single is at best childish at worst plain retarded.

We can easily pass judgements on setlists- if they are shit we will call them out on it. This isn't backstage. Equally because a set list looks shit on paper, doesn't make the show bad- again, we can only judge on what we see in a PBP and then once we see the video and then hear the fan reports can you get the real picture. But again, the criticising is because we all want them to put on the best show they can. Why be satisfied with a half arsed phoned in show when you know they can do better?

You say "But you will criticise this band over and over again.If you don't like them why come here???" I suggest the same if you can't take reasoned adult discussion both good and bad. I know there are some comments that don't fit that, but its the internet, it happens. But you have a group of very big fans where who know a hell of a lot about the band and have been to a hell of a lot of shows and will continue to do so. They have every right to say they don't like the new single. I didn't at first, still don't rate it that highly, it doesn't diminish my love for the band. Equally if some people love it, some hate it that's great. I like Work For The Working Man and hate Just Older. Different strokes for different folks.

But don't just come in and put everyone down if you don't join the discussion in the first place
