personally, i don't mind not having the car starge per se. i'm not a fan of big production stages a la Muse anyway, and i'd much rather a basic stage in general. however, it's kind of sucky not having the same experience as everyone else, if indeed this turns out not being the car stage.

there will be a general strike on the 27th, so there won't be any buses or subways running. there will be a special bus line from 23h15 to 02h00 and it will stop in following places:

leaving from Bela Vista (Av. José Régio) - Av. Brasil - Campo Grande - Entrecampos - Campo Pequeno - Saldanha - Marquês de Pombal - Restauradores - Rossio

Restauradores and Rossio are the places closer to the downtown.

that's the thing, it's a stand alone concert. we've had the Rock in Rio festival stage in 2008 and that's perfectly understandable in that case. i can't seem to find any pictures from today and apparently no one knows what's the deal with the stage at this point. guess we won't know until tomorrow!

the promoters say on their Facebook page "Bon Jovi picked the staged that's being used tomorrow" and that "they can't do anything about that". i'd really love to hear the explanation behind this.
