Official Richie Sambora Los Angeles Thread 13/11/2012

Since I couldn't a thread on this show, here goes...

The RichieSambora.com facebook site says that David Ryan Harris will be that show's support act. Nice one!

Setlist, rants, etc...

This should be a great show! He cancelled every other show he had to get ready for this one :p

I have a feeling this will be the best show of the North American leg of this tour.

Hope that LA show wouldn't be the only North American show! :P joke, fingers crossed for Richie and those who are going to see him ;)

Might also turn out to be the worst North American show...

I have my fingers crossed for everyone who's travelling miles to see this bman play his rare songs. Luckily you've saved lots of cash from the other shows being cancelled so there you go, buy a T-shirt from the poor bastard!

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Super excited about this. I had a doctor appointment in California not too far from LA on November 12th, and was overjoyed when I found out about this show. So overjoyed, in fact, I caved and got the Runaway Tours meet and greet deal. Don't really give a shit about the people who think it's stupid or whatever, because I'm finally fulfilling my dream of meeting Richie. I'm getting excited now just thinking about it :p

After my SF show got cancelled, I moved things around to make this one. Figured it could be his last North American show ever, at least the last one ever on the west coast after the ticketing fiasco.

Not really expecting much. Would love to get Church of Desire, Made in America, Undiscovered Soul, Mr Bluesman, Seven Years Gone or The Answer. Maybe the Answer is possible because he has performed it in Europe. But I doubt it. Just have a feeling that he will not be singing until his "throat blows up" like he said. Going in with low expectations hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Who cares if anyone thinks you are stupid about doing it? You will get to meet Richie and it is cheaper than what Runaway usually charges for the trips. And it is a one on one picture as opposed to the group ones with Jon. If I had the money, I would have done it. Have fun man.

I definitely don't care, but I got some shit for doing the Dublin trip last year so I decided to start off by saying that. :p Dublin turned out to be worth every penny, Jon ended up signing my guitar that I brought with me (which I found out was once owned by Richie himself) and now I'm going to have Richie sign it, I can't wait! Something like this is just what I needed in the middle of otherwise shitty life situations.
